I got the filmmaking and photography bug while living in Budapest, Hungary for 14 years and collaborating with some of their most talented - and locally famous - filmmakers, production companies, actors/comedians.  My earliest memories are of watching "The Wizard of Oz" and looking at photos of my grandfather on a film set in 1930s and 40s Hollywood. He worked with many well known actors as a bit player or "extra" (Orson Welles, Humphrey Bogart), but like me and director Gábor Fischer  ("Montecarlo!" - 2004, "Valaki kopog" - 2000) he also worked with a Hungarian. On 1943's "Sahara" with director Zoltan Korda. So in a way, I guess I was born with it.  Thanks grandpa! The Hungarians helped me to get the ball rolling.

I've been providing video and photography services in Arizona, Nevada, Alabama, Georgia, and New York since 2012.
In 2019 - literally a few months before Covid hit - I was offered what some would say was the opportunity of a lifetime while filming a wedding. From none other than the talented director of photography, Michael Caracciolo ("Men in Black", "Sex and the City"). To work as part of the production crew on the hit NBC crime thriller, "The Blacklist" for the 8th season in 2020.

Just one month after visiting Michael on set (and meeting some other awesome, talented folks), the pandemic went global. The aftermath of Covid, especially in New York, made me think twice and sadly, I had to decline. The silver lining in all this?
Being given any opportunity to film with my team. Either here in sunny Arizona or wherever a story may take us.
